This is a chance to join Rosa’s Lovely Daughters & Friends on Saturday March 7th to celebrate International Women’s Day with songs, poetry and readings, at the same time assisting the HLMT to support Liberian midwifery training. Please put the date in your diary and buy a ticket from Rosa’s to avoid disappointment.
The concert will take place at the United Reformed Church, 1 Edwards Lane, Sherwood NG5 3AA – doors open 7pm, start time 7.30pm. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and please bring a glass too!
All proceeds from the evening will go to the Helen Loewenstein Memorial Trust, There will be an opportunity to hear more about the Trust’s work and also about the most recent fact-finding visit to Liberia made by one of the HLMT trustees, herself a Nottingham midwife. Liberian fabric and craft items will also be on sale. Tickets cost just £8, payable in advance by the following method:

– how many tickets you require;
– your own name & surname and those of any others you’re buying tickets for.
Secondly, please pay for your ticket(s) by BACS transfer using your name & the number of tickets required as the reference (e.g. JohnSmith3):

Once payment is received Rosa’s will email you a confirmation. You don’t need to print this – the door steward will have a list of names of people who have bought tickets, all you need to do is give them your name.
