HLMT laid on another night of top-quality music at Sherwood URC with three brilliant acts:
Doc Shellard and Flan, Sarah Farrell and The Outriders treated a packed hall to some wonderful music.
At the end of a brilliant evening, just over £1300 had been raised for HLMT funds, sufficient top cover the study and accommodation fees of a Liberian midwifery student for eighteen months – absolutely wonderful!!
Huge thanks go to all the musicians, to Dave Martin who produced wonderful sound, to Sherwood URC for the use of their hall; and to HLMT trustees Carol, Carolyn, Nick, Pete, Pippa and Stella for working on the night. And to volunteers Bob D, Carol L, Eileen, Glenys, Ingrid, Michael, Murdo, Sarah F, Sharon and Val, who helped with the raffle and with clearing up – and to several others who helped clear up.
