This sold-out gig was treated to a wonderful night’s music. Lowered Tones produced some beautifully soulful playing and singing; Tim and Esme Garland sang some fabulous songs with exquisite harmonies; and Borderline ended the night’s entertainment with their infectious mix of rock and Americana that had many people up and dancing. And by the end of this memorable evening over £1350 had been raised for HLMT funds – all of which will go to midwifery training in Liberia.
Huge thanks go to all the musicians, Dave Martin on sound, Sherwood United Reformed Church, and the HLMT trustees and supporters – Carol, Chris, Ingrid, Jane, Kate, Michael, Nick, Pete, Pippa, Sam and Stella – who worked behind the scenes to make things happen.
