Presentation by Abdul-rahman Bah to NNACP Joint Service on 29th March 2025

HLMT’s Liberian representative, Abdul-rahman Bah made a presentation to the North Notts Area Church Partnership Joint Service on 29th March 2025. Stella Nickolay introduced Abdul and the work of HLMT more generally. The focus of Abdul’s talk was the roles he performs to support HLMT in Liberia. These include:

A full house enjoyed another brilliant night of live music at Sherwood URC. AJAR, Bronwyn Westacott, Fieldwork Reworked and Jelly treated the audience to wonderful music with a wide range of powerful songs from a variety of genres. Talk to Women’s Institute, 25th February 2025

HLMT trustee, Carol McCormick, gave an excellent talk about HLMT and her involvement in it to a packed meeting of the WI. A  lot of interest and active discussion followed, and a small HLMT stall raised over £160 for HLMT funds.

Rosa’s Lovely Daughters fundraising gig for HLMT 14th December 2024

HLMT stall at Sherwood Vegan Market, Saturday 9 November 2024

HLMT took its INDOOR stall to this lively market. Thanks to the efforts of HLMT trustees Carol, Celia, Pete, Pippa and Stella, £153 was raised for HLMT funds, all of which will go to training midwifery students in Liberia.

Cake Sale, Maternity Unit, Nottingham City Hospital Tuesday 10th September 2024

Maternity Unit Staff at the City Hospital organised the cake sale  to raise funds for HLMT. The initiative came from HLMT trustee Esther and HLMT supporters Bella, Jennifer and Steve.
